HURRICANE FIGHTER PLANE prove their debut ep was no fluke in style and content by backing up with 2 new songs in a format more in keeping with their oeuvre, 7” vinyl.  Always a treat to see live, HFP bring the same energy to these recordings with the highlight of “I Can’t Win” being the Moon-esque drum rolls of Jamie Turner.  To these ears, the notional b-side, “Leaving Town” is the superior tune with a tighter arrangement and its mod-ish hook, part Small Faces, part Twilights.  Excelsior!
